A term used as an identifier for one item in stock.

Part Number
A numeric or alphanumeric identifier for a part.

Purchase Requisition
A CMMS-generated or hand-written document requesting the purchase of the specified item(s).

Purchase Order
A legal document generated by the Purchasing Department for the purchase of specified item(s).

Reorder Point
Frequently used as and called the Minimum.  The quantity at which an item is reordered.

A storeroom for the mobile equipment, ladders, and all other tools, tooling and related supplies used by maintenance.

Unit of Measure
The standard unit in which an item is ordered, 6 each, 5 feet, 10 lbs. 24 quarts, 1 dozen, etc.
